The challenge
The floor of the Springfield Unit was damaged by equipment being moved and used around the unit. The repair had to fit the budget without lowering the quality of work. The stores had forklift pathways and rack areas with pallets only, and the sugar store had pallet and foot traffic areas.
The DCP solution
The DCP team and the consultant agreed different thicknesses of the Griptop flooring system for each area: 6 mm on forklift pathways and 3 mm under racks, and in the sugar store 4 mm for pallet placement and 2 mm for foot traffic only. Strongcoat Primer was used under the repairs and the topping.
