The challenge
A horse stable in Cheshire was being refurbished. The main challenge for the contractor was to give the stable floors a resilient, hard wearing finish.
The DCP solution
The DCP UK technical team proposed Cemflow Exterior Topping. It is a polymer modified cementitious topping that removes surface irregularities and smooths internal and external concrete surfaces exposed to heavy traffic. It could be applied over the existing floor and gives high wear resistance and resistance to freeze thaw cycles.

How it was applied
- Prepare the existing floor surface.
- Dampen the prepared surface to help bond and minimise pinholing.
- Apply Cemflow Exterior Topping over the existing floor.
