The challenge
Jaipur Metro Project C-2 was built on a very fast programme. It needed high performance structural grouts, repair systems, protective coatings and admixtures to build faster and stronger, with good finishing and maintenance.
The DCP solution
Formcoat S100, a release agent for most types of formwork, improved the concrete finish and extended formwork life. PPF Fiber was added to the concrete to control shrinkage cracks, as an alternative to crack control steel mesh. Flo-Grout 60, a general purpose, non-shrink, chloride free cementitious grout with high early strength, met all pumpable and pourable grouting needs. Set Lube primed concrete pumps and pipelines before concreting. Setseal 22, Setplug and Hyperplast PC711 were also supplied.

How it was applied
- Formcoat S100 applied to the formwork before casting.
- PPF Fiber mixed into the concrete for shrinkage crack control.
- Flo-Grout 60 used for stanchion bases, struts, railings and guardrails, filling shutter rod openings and anchoring bars and bolts.
- Set Lube pumped through concrete pumps and pipelines to leave a thin lubricating film that reduces friction and prevents blockages.
The result
The client reported that Formcoat S100, Flo-Grout 60, Set Lube and PPF Fiber exceeded its expectations.
